Testing for the 3-d wire effect being used on the cover/throughout the issue of the magazine. The wire was drawn with a graphics tablet, then enhanced with a Bevel filter. Recoloured to a light grey (it clashed too much against the header of BASSLINE on a black background); the jack merged on the end; and shadows being drawn on parts to create the effect of overlapping wire.

This is the mock up for the DPS (Double-paged spread) without our writing copy. This was mainly an experiment to use all the scanned items (Lizzie scanned in post-it notes, crumpled paper, and notepaper) I scanned in the images of napkins. I used a graphics tablet to write the TEST on everything, and used 2 random photos to fill the gaps. All the images have drop shadows and have been edited to look like they are 3D. The background is a scanned in tablecloth.
